报告题目:Assembly and Operation of the Neocortex

时松海,1973年12月生,1996年本科毕业于清华大学生物科学与技术系,2001年获得美国纽约州立大学石溪分校和冷泉港实验室遗传学博士学位,2001—2006年在美国加州大学旧金山分校与霍华德·休斯医学研究所进行博士后工作,2006—2019年在美国纪念斯隆凯特林癌症中心及康奈尔大学医学院先后任助理研究员/助理教授、副研究员/副教授和研究员/教授。2019年至今,任清华大学生命科学学院教授、博士生导师。现任清华大学生命科学学院院长、清华大学-IDG/麦戈文脑科学研究院院长。 

长期从事哺乳动物大脑发育和功能研究,早期工作揭示了神经突触可塑性的核心机制,为深入理解学习记忆原理提供了根本性实验依据,并发现了细胞极性蛋白与营养因子信号通路共同调控神经元轴突形成,开辟了神经元极化机制的研究。近期研究跨越神经发育与环路功能领域,定量阐明了单个大脑神经干细胞高度有序进行增殖、神经元发生和胶质细胞发生的内在程序,揭示了调控大脑神经干细胞分裂分化的核心机制,发现了大脑神经细胞发育谱系依赖性的精准神经环路组装和运行的一系列机制,提示了调控大脑发育与功能的新的基本原理——“神经元出生在一起,连接在一起,工作在一起”,为理解正常或病理情况下大脑发育组装与功能运行作出了重要贡献。 

曾获Science年度十大突破和Science全球生命科学青年科学家特等奖、美国布拉瓦尼克青年科学家奖、美国霍华德·休斯医学研究所学者、北京市高校卓越青年科学家、新基石研究员、北京学者等荣誉和资助。2023年当选为中国科学院院士。
